Link Creative Design Review

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Ohio Freelancer, Lindsey Meredith is a Web Designer, Graphic Designer and a Traditional Illustrator. Her on-line portfolio displays her design range.

With her 7+ years of experience with design, Lindsey has started up her own service for public use in 2008. She has called this Link Creative, which provides affordable designs for clients of all kinds.

The drive Lindsey has is the main reason she has been persistent in becoming successful in this field. Her methods of working rely on her need to create free-hand drawings, which she will spend a lot of time on to perfect.

Research is another important factor in Lindsey’s creative methods. She take pride in finding the correct information to include in her designs, just for that specific client.

With this natural ability to draw custom designs and lettering, she can meet the diverse needs of the clients. Her illustration of a Falcon was hand drawn, edited in Illustrator and then Photoshop . The colours and other context mix well with the focus on the Falcon. This illustration not only shows her ability as an illustrator but as someone who can use and merge designs multiple media’s without any trouble and creating such a beautiful outcome.

With her desire to create designs specifically for the clients needs, Lindsey has found a way to become that bit different from the rest of the freelancers in any one of her fields. She is willing to go that extra mile to make her clients happy by being very specific in what ever she designs for them. Being able to create more than one outcome for the customer also shows her dedication to that given project.

Having the need to provide for others is a skill not many people require and as a freelancer, that should be one of your main goals if you want to be successful in the design world. Lindsey appreciates inquiries or feedback on any of her designs, so feel free to contact her via the web site for further information that may benefit you and your work.

The Design Process of Andre Mota

Thursday, October 8th, 2009

This self-taught freelancer, Andre Mota has the ability to create Photo and Abstract Illustrations and Graphic Designs. At the age of 22, Andre, also known as Dre, is a very up-beat and energetic person, with a love for people and life. He can be found creating designs where he resides in Germany.

When he was young, Andre would draw basic designs from standard objects, to perfect his illustration creativity. He has had a lot of support from those who know him well and this has encouraged him to continue this far.

When he was 14, Andre received his first computer, which made him want to study design software through practice.

As the years have passed, he kept going with this practices to perfect it and he went on to create Booklets, Flyers, Album-Covers, Home page’s, Online Banners, etc… just to name a few. Andre has many clients, such as;, Black to the 90’s, NUG Records and Black Secret Entertainment.

Looking through his online portfolio, you can see how far Andre has come with his evolution of his style of designs. The piece captioned Apocalypse has the intention of a promotional advert for an album or DVD cover. This shows the range of his work and the possibilities are endless for Andre.

Andre is still growing his talent into designs as he is now studying at a private design school and working with a connected agency. He still continues to work with and for his clients but he has also formed his own agency called ‘Hypnotix’, which will feature more of his work and more like it.

Pushing himself with the remembrance of his own philosophy, Never give up!, he continues to come up with these inspirational design concepts. Feel free to contact Andre Mota via the web site to see more of his work and to contact him for more information.
