The Handiness Of Downloading Films Right At Home

Monday, October 12th, 2009

Back in the day, the best way to view a film was to go to the drive-in movie theater. You would pick and choose a parking spot where you could see the screen, park your car, put the little gray box in the window and hope that the weather cooperated. The sound quality was bad, it was full of static and buzzing, the movie screen was hard to see and if it started to rain or if it got cold, then you were out of luck.

The most fun was going to the refreshment stand for popcorn and refreshments so that you could meet the other people. Watching the film wasn?t actually that great because it was difficult to see and hear it well.

Today you can get a high-quality, full-length movie with just the touch of your fingertips by downloading directly from the Internet. With just a minor membership fee you can get almost any movie that has ever been released on video anytime 24/7. The cost is typically less than the average charge for a neighborhood video store or mail-in subscription service.

You can also observe the film right from your computer, but of course most people would choose their TV sets, so you can do that to. Just convey the movie to a dvd, grab the popcorn, cuddle up in your preferred relaxation spot and enjoy the movie.

As you investigate the Internet you will find that there are some services that allow you to download movies for free of charge. Be on your guard of these services as they are likely making a profit by transferring spyware, adware or worse to your computer. Also you will be circumventing copyright laws if you do not pick out a reputable site that is approved to sell the films online.

There are some very cheap rates for membership or you can on occasion pay per download. Make sure that the website offers a CD/DVD burner software with your package. Also make sure that they are transferring the digital management rights to you so that you can duplicate the movie without breaking copyright laws.

Most of the best movie downloading services will also provide music, software and games in addition to the whole movies. There should be no additional fees for these extras.

You can start downloading movies right away. It takes a very short time and it is possible to get almost any motion picture that has ever been released on video. It is simple and a straightforward way to get your film entertainment and it beats the drive-in theater, by far!

Red River: One of the best American adventures is a Western Mutiny on the Bounty. Clift rejects the dominance of Wayne (radiant in an unsympathetic role) throughout a key livestock drive. Captivating photography by Russell Harlan is coupled with an exciting Dimitri Tiomkin score. A movie you need to see. If you don’t pay close attention, you’ll miss Shelley Winters dancing around a campfire. Cast includes John Wayne, Montgomery Clift, Walter Brennan, Joanne Dru, John Ireland, Noah Beery, Paul Fix, Coleen Gray, Chief Yowlachie, and Hank Worden. (133 minutes, 1948)

Rockula: Teenage vampire Cameron is powerless to lose his virginity due to an age-old hex. Cast includes Dean Cameron, Tawny Fere, Susan Tyrrell, Bo Diddley, Thomas Dolby, and Toni Basil. (87 minutes, 1990)

The Nutty Professor: Jerry’s craziest and most self-centered comedy casts him as chipmunk-faced college professor who does Jekyll-and-Hyde like changes, and changes into swaggering Buddy Love whom some have defined as a Dean Martin character. The movie is more fascinating than funny. Lewis buffs consideration of this as his masterpiece work. Cast includes Jerry Lewis, Stella Stevens, Del Moore, Kathleen Freeman, Med Flory, Howard Morris, Elvia Allman, and Henry Gibson.(107 minutes, 1963)
