Amazon had the best price! The caveat is choose wisely, not all software is compatible and you may experience conflicts. However, after internet upgrade, you can enter the license code from the disc to extend the license for another year (just before your license period expires). I am not sure exactly how this all works, but you could try that.

I find this Norton’s Internet Security not only thorough but it runs quickly and is very user friendly. Then I got the Norton and replaced the McAfee and what a difference. Getting a bad disc was a pain but Norton took care of it. Also like to say that I have never had a virus or break-in of my computers since using it.

This is exactly what I needed – lightweight, small and easy to carry without sacrificing screen quality and processing speed. The keyboard is extremely comfortable for its size, the screen crisp and clear.

With iPad there’s a lot of incompatibility issues and requires hassles to download a lot of software just to visit certain sites. For a third of a price of an iPad, I have a very sleek looking gadget that does a lot than I expected. I was shocked at how long it can stay on without charging it up. This solves the installation hang-up, as well as resolving the driver issue (11.04 now recognizes the driver without a problem). It is somewhat time-consuming, but well worth it. Made the computer run much faster, with 1 GB of RAM it seemed slow to open documents and webpages. The screen is bright and easy to read.

I wouldn’t want to use it for any sort of heavy duty graphics processing but I love the fact that the battery lasts at least 8 hours, on pretty average settings too not even the extreme power saving mode. I have older Toshiba laptops with excellent experience, in fact they are still working (WIN98, 450Mb HD, 64Mb RAM)! I decided to take the risk and bought the netbook from Amazon. Sure there are others out there with more bells and whistles but for the price I got exactly what I wanted and needed. The battery life is awesome. It’s plenty loud and sounds fine. I also upgraded to windows 7 home premium, which boosted performance in my opinion.
