The Fun Of Having A Laptop Computer

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

There are a lot of joys to having a laptop computer. For one they are more convenient and you can carry them around, this is something you can not do with a desktop. A laptop computer is great when you want to show something to someone online and they do not have the Internet, then you can just bring over your laptop.

I like a laptop when I am taking a long trip and this way it will help with some boredom. There was a point and time when I did not have a printer and had to take my laptop along with me I needed directions to a place I was going.

I quickly got on the Internet and started researching things and reading different articles. I love to play games and was into playing a game when I had to go to work and the fun was over until I got off work. After getting off work I think I spent the whole night on my laptop.

When you get a laptop it is a good idea to get a fan for it so that it can stay cool. If your laptop does not stay cool, it can do the same thing that a motor on a vehicle will do if it gets over heated, which means that it will blow up and not work anymore.

My laptop has gotten a little bit old now and I do not spend all night on it like I did the first couple nights. I sometimes will find myself spending a few hours on it and then getting bored, but I still love it because it runs great and I can still do everything on it that I did in the beginning.

I found many great deals online while I was looking for my laptop computer and it was close to Christmas when I found all the deals. A lot of companies were offering free shipping and it was hard to choose because they were all such great deals.

After many hours on my friends computer I finally was able to choose after she talked me out of buying more than one. I think I made a great investment and I believe a laptop was a better choice for me to do the things I need to do on it and I am still a proud owner of a well taken care of laptop.

Monday, December 7th, 2009

If you go anywhere in public today where people sat sit for a extended amount of time, you’ll see more and more people using personal laptops. Starbucks, coffee shops, even restaurants, people seem to be bringing their laptops with them wherever they go. If you are interested in buying one, then there has never been a better time than the present.

Before you grab your credit card and rush down to the computer shop, you’ll need to ask yourself a few questions first. What will you be using your laptop for? Where will you be using it? How long will you be using it at time? Battery life, weight, and footprint are some things to consider based on your answers to these questions.

If you think you’ll be using it mainly at work, or home, then you probably don’t need to worry about battery life, since you will have it plugged in most of the time. You also won’t be carrying it anywhere, so weight isn’t an issue. But if you plan on using it while your out and about, and aren’t sure if you’ll be able to plug it in or not, then battery life and weight become very important, and should not be overlooked.

One thing that more and more people have now are touch screen laptops. These eliminate the need of the mouse altogether, as you Internet directly with your screen. This can be great if you are traveling, or using it in confined spaces. However, if most of the work you will be doing is typing and writing reports, then maybe a touch screen laptop may not be the best option.

These have many advantages. Since you won’t be using your mouse, they take up much less desktop space. They are ideal for surfing the net at your local Starbucks, or working on an airplane. And with modern technology, they are much longer lasting than most people realize.

Now you know a few answers to some of your questions, it’s time to go shopping. Don’t be shy, make sure to ask the salesperson as many questions as you can think of. The right laptop can be a fantastic tool to help you accomplish virtually anything.
