Sell High Or Sell Low, Ideas On Finding The Ideal Price For Your Products.

Monday, May 3rd, 2010

Digital product manufacturers are always in a state of dilemma subsequent to making a product.

This isn’t just due to the strains that the pre-launch and post-opening marketing methods will need.

This is also because of lone crucial decision they will need to carry out: what price should they attach to their CPA Rich product?

Indeed, an internet advertiser will always need to ask this question.

Should he vend his goods for a low fee, or should he offer the same for a high amount.

Each has its own set of advantages and negatives.

Promoting the product at a low amount will most probably:

- attract the attention of a lot of persons. Each individual likes a good buy.

That the product would be promoted at rock bottom price would surely earn the curiosity – and even the consideration – of the members of your target customers.

- be easier to advertise. Each individual would consider it undemanding to dole out $9 for a thing he considers he requires, but he will feel it very difficult to shell out $29 for the same item.

- carry your competitors to their knees. How can they compete with your cheap, low fee?

But promoting the product at a low price will at the same time jeopardize your business due to the reason that:

- your buyers will be displeased, as cheap prices are connected with second-rate products.

- you’ll have fewer leeway for changes such as occasional split testing and price tugs.

- it’ll take a longer time before you attain your sales quota as you’d require many and many transactions to realize substantial income given your small profit margin.

Then again, selling the product at a large amount carries the following advantages:

- it’ll be simpler to attain your vending goals as a smaller number of transactions can gather lots of earnings.

- your clients would immediately consider that your product is of high quality to command such a price.

- you can easily brand your company as a big ticket enterprise which will eventually aid your potential advertising campaigns.

But, you as well remain to encounter the following difficulties:

- it’ll be more difficult to sell your products. Get used to numerous times with zero sales.

- you’ll be handing a go-ahead basket to your competitors.

- some individuals may deem that your trade is a con. The solution? Charge your item for what it’s significance and worry about the positives and cons afterward.

If your merchandise commands a high cost, so be it.

If it’s worth a low price, it’ll be wrong to heighten its price.

Google Continues To Dominate The Internet

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

Google is by far the most popular search engine in the world. They are so big and powerful that they can almost dictate their own terms with governments around the world. Everyone wants the ability to Google a topic. When was the first time you heard Google? Did you wonder what it was? I know people that just started using the service two or three years ago and they wonder how they ever lived without it. You can Google anything, any topic and you almost always get what you are looking for.

Occasionally your subject can be so obscure or narrowed, that nothing may be capable of finding it as there is merely not enough information online. However that seldom occurs and if it does, you will be able to alter the keywords or alter the parameters around and come up with what you’re searching for.

Google has been know, for a long time now, for its search engines. In addition to this, what many do not know is that they are also writing programs for other search and retrieval products. You can find Google programs on laptops, desk top and even on your cell phones. Google has even, at one point, built their own phones. Overall, they have not been satisfied with writing programs for other companies, and have built an entire device around their own system.

So far the Google phone has been an early hit, selling strongly against the more established and popular iPhone and Palm series phones. These brands have been synonymous with smart phone technology and Google just jumped right in there and built their own version of a smart phone. It makes sense because most people use their mobile devices as mini hand held computers and use the technology exclusively for information and searching.

Lets say you’re driving in the back seat of a taxicab and searching for a telephone number for a dry cleaner, where do you search? Look for it on Google naturally. The equivalent can be pronounced in a million different scenarios and the Google telephone constitutes the perfect instrument to achieve that task. Not only do you acquire an excellent search engine device and the technology behind a billion flourishing searches, you acquire an amazingly wonderful phone too. Therefore today, regardless where you are in the world, whether you have your laptop computer with you, or your desktop in the adjacent room or you’re relaxing in a overstuffed chair in a resort accommodation in Hawaii, you are able to ascertain all kinds of data that you need and it’s at the tips of your fingers.

Submit Your Article To The Directories After You Read This Article Marketing Tips Tutorial

Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010

There are many article marketing tools that you can use to make the process of distributing your articles easier. The best way to do this is with a service called the Unique Article Wizard. However, although this is invaluable in getting your article exposed to more sites, there are common mistakes that some people make before submitting their articles to directories.

Let us take a look at the most common mistakes made in 3 key areas:

1) Confusing the reason to promote articles with the reason to write them.

In article marketing, the main benefits of you promoting them is branding, lead generation, backlinks and promotion, which are all part of your search engine optimization efforts.

However, there is one reason why you write articles, and that is to inform your audience about a subject. It is greatly important that your article is based upon this fact, or else you stand to fail in the promotional benefits as outlined above.

Of course, it is also highly important that you figure out how to get people to read you article, and then to click on your site link in the resource box. I have produced a couple of articles that cover these areas so please check them out :-) .

2) Failing to realize and maximize the promotional opportunities of article marketing must not be underscored.

You will more than likely already know that your article can generate links back to your website from the article directories themselves, and also from any websites who publish your article from these article directories. However, did you know that you can attract more visitors and better search engine results from the same article?

The first step to achieving this is to provide relevant keywords at strategic places in the article. However, do not overdo this. A good benchmark is to aim for between a ten to fifteen percent keyword density. I won’t go further into this here as I’ve discussed this in other articles but if you would like to find out more, look out for more of my article marketing articles.

You shouldn’t just aim for your article to be accepted by article directories, but should ultimately aim for it to be used by publishers who scour the directories for website content. You should not underestimate the potential that this can have on your promotional efforts, as many of these publishers may have hundreds or thousands of regular visitors who could then view your article.

Start out by having a plan of what you want achieved and make sure that you reach your targets. It is important to do this so that you can reap the maximum benefits of every article that you write.

3) Creating articles with content that does not help your readers.

Maybe your only plan is to create an article and get links back from article directories, and that any visitor that you may get from this is fine.

Many article directories buckle down on the amount of articles that they accept that are simply not up to standard. And even if a poorly written, uninformative article does make it into the article sites, then the potential of being picked up by webmasters seeking quality content is certainly lost.

The benefits of one publisher with a hundred thousand website visitors picking up your article should be enough incentive for you to write an informative article.

Researching into a topic that is sought after is important. There may be many readers of this article who will feel that this information is all well and good but feel that they cannot write an article well, or may not know enough about a certain subject to write an article. This is by no means a dead-end. There are many places where you can research into a topic, or hiring a writer might be an option worth considering.

The choice really is yours on how dedicated you are in increasing the exposure of your article. You can choose to gain a few backlinks from article directories, or with a little more effort you can enjoy massive exposure from providing unique content articles to hundreds of article directories and websites with a article marketing service like the Unique Article Wizard.

Green Energy Power!

Buyer Beware – Using Power Factor Correction and Transient Voltage Surge Suppression to Reduce Energy Costs.

Today’s energy conscious climate has motivated many to do what they can to become more efficient and conserve energy and money. Unfortunately this same climate has prompted others to take advantage of unsuspecting consumers’ wishes to save energy and reduce expenses.

Companies that tout power factor improvement (kVAR correction) and transient voltage suppression are a good example of this bad trend. Lately we are seeing more and more of these companies cropping up and feel it is time to set the record straight.

First, transient voltage surge suppression (TVSS) plays a valuable role in improving power quality to protect sensitive equipment inside a facility. However, TVSS does not save energy. TVSS’s are only active a tiny fraction of a second to protect against voltage surges which only last for less than a millisecond. To actually reduce energy consumption the TVSS would need to actually cut power consumption for an extended period of time which is not what they are designed to do. Again, TVSS is important to protect sensitive electrical equipment but buyers should avoid vendors promising, or even guaranteeing, that they will reduce energy consumption.

Now what about vendors who claim that improving power factor will save 15% or 20% or 30% of energy consumption and corresponding cost? This one is a little trickier.

For residential applications, power factor does nothing to save energy because the typical home already has an average power factor of about 0.97 which is almost the perfect power factor of 1 or unity. In addition, the device (called a capacitor) is placed at the main circuit breaker. According to IEEE 5.5.3.3 capacitors must be situated at or near the respective inductive loads to reduce power system losses by reducing heat and distribution losses known as I2R losses.

So what about commercial and industrial facilities using power factor correction to reduce energy costs? It is perfectly appropriate for a company that is incurring penalties or a kVA billing structure from the utility company to improve the facility’s overall power factor by employing a capacitor bank at the main service entrance or individual capacitors at or near the respective motor loads. Doing so will eliminate the power factor penalties and/or reduce the kVA demand charges on the utility bill which can save significant money and provide a significant ROI on the investment.

But what about power factor correction reducing kWh consumption? IEEE also tells us that I2R losses only account for 2 to 5% of the total load in a facility. Simple math tells us that it would be against the laws of physics to get the 15% to 30% energy reduction claimed by some vendors. Think about it. Even if your facility had 5% distribution losses and you could correct 100% of the problem via power factor correction at every load (which can’t be done) you would still only save 5% at the most. No where near the claims of some capacitor vendors and manufacturers.

All that said, power factor correction when done properly will eliminate utility penalties and kVA demand charges, improve facility power quality, increase electrical system capacity, and save a little energy when applied to the appropriate motor loads.

So make an investment in transient voltage surge suppression and power factor correction when appropriate and necessary. But caveat emptor!

You Can Use Networking To Increase Your Online Sales

Monday, January 11th, 2010

The phrase ‘network marketing’ is a term that describes the marketing structure used by some companies as their marketing strategy. This structure is designed to create a marketing force by compensating the promoters of the company’s products. The products and company are usually marketed directly to consumers by word of mouth marketing and is called affiliate marketing. The multi- level marketing organizations with greater incentives for recruitment rather than product sales should be viewed skeptically. Provide enough information to enable prospective buyers to make an informed decision about the product.

Now sales people of network marketing are referred to as distributors or affiliates, independent business owners, dealers, franchise owners, sales consultants, consultants, independent agents, or associates. They will market for the company that produces the products or provides the services they sell. They are awarded a commission based upon the volume of products sold through their own sales efforts as well as that of their down line organization. Independent distributors develop the product and an independent affiliate markets it in order to earn a profit from products that are purchased from the company.

This arrangement has affiliates earn a commission based on the sales of their marketing efforts and is similar to franchise arrangements where a royalty is paid from the sales of individual distributors. Commissions are paid to the marketer according to the company’s compensation plan. Successful Forex Trading Strategies Used By Sophisticated Traders

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

There are many trading models or strategies. If you are looking to become a serious currency investor, you should take the time to learn how each is used. Each strategy is often used under different sets of circumstances and there is no strategy that works all of the time. Why? The answer is simple. Each trader often trades under a different goals and rules thereby producing a different set of results.

There are too many factors influencing the market to find one glove that fits all. Profitable traders will tell you that in order to trade successfully, you will have to gain some experience under your belt. As you trade over time, you will develop an intuition that will help to serve as your guide. Intuition alone is not enough though. Learning when to stay in and pull out of a trade is also important.

It is never wise to trade on a whim or on emotions. This is the best way to lose money fast. Moreover, you should learn how to balance any trading advice you get from others by learning how to interpret real-time market signals as they occur and weigh them against your training and intuition.

Since you are looking for profitable trading scenarios or strategies, you will be happy to know there are only two main categories. The first category can be classified as a profit-maximizing strategy while the other deals with minimizing risk. No two investors will ever use these strategies the same because each may be influenced under a different set of circumstances.

When using the profit-maximizing or stop loss strategy, serous investors take many things into account. It is not as easy as it may sound. There are just too many factors that can influence a trade to say that one strategy will always work successfully. This is why it is important for you to learn these strategies and gain some experience trading in demo accounts before committing real money.

A leverage based trading strategy allows you to make money by hiring the services of a broker. Under this strategy, a broker will give you a 100:1 match on the money you place into your account. This is money that you essentially borrow from your broker so you can make larger trades based on the terms you agree upon.

The stop loss order is the most popular risk minimizing strategy. This strategy helps traders by using presets as a means to automatically stop a trade once a set of conditions are met based on the stop loss prices of the trade. Traders set their own stop loss price limits. There are different types of stop losses, each used under varying circumstances at the discretion of the trader. A key point to be made is that regardless of the trading strategy used, there is always an element of risks involved.

Automated order entry trading strategies allow a trader to enter a trade opportunity at a preset price. This trading strategy relies on software automation whereby the trader is given control over the set price of the currency. The presets are designed with complex algorithms that enable a trader to enter a trade at the most favorable time for profits.

Automated trading is most often used when you want to automatically enter a trade the market when the currency is more favorable for profits.
